Yes I know … a bit of a gap in writing but we’re back on a cold March day to show you our adventure to the zoo. Peter really wanted to meet a penguin, I think because of the one in the Oliver Jeffer’s books. It’s been a while since I was there and it was looking really good … new enclosures for the chimps and koalas and the famous pandas. It was quite emotional seeing the pandas, they are amazing.
Peter was most entertained by the penguins. He loved watching them swim under water and was cracking up at the Rockhoppers who were having a funny shaky wiggly bath. We were pleased as well he saw a tiger as he is a bit scared of them after watching Jungle Book. After watching it walk back and forth over a log, he decided he liked them as it was playing one of Peter’s favourite games. A great day out.
