Ben and I are so happy that our gorgeous son has arrived and we finally get to meet him! He’s absolutely beautiful and we’re both smitten with him. Peter Michael Curry arrived at 08:50 Wednesday 31st August 2011, weighing in at 7lb 1 with his eyes wide open, lots of blonde hair and waving a big pair of hands around! We’re all a bit surprised that he’s a week early, I was really expecting to be two weeks late. It’s lovely though, he’s so teeny tiny.
I am recovering well after managing to push him out naturally just so, so tired as labour started Monday lunchtime. We’ve got him settled down at home now and getting used to sleepless nights, countless nappies and living in chaos lol. He’s so, so worth it though, we can’t stop staring at him. He has my chin dimple, Ben’s crinkly ears and blue eyes which is so cute. He definitely looks like Ben who is stepping up to be the most brilliant Dad.
